Rookwood Golf Course

Welcome to Rookwood Golf Course

One of the best pay & play courses in the South

It’s a bold statement to say that Rookwood has one of the best-kept courses in Sussex, but it’s only a reflection of what our visiting golfers have been telling us. With a mix of gently undulating parkland and mature woodland, the par 72 course measures 6,200 yards. Strategically positioned bunkers and a number of large lakes creates a course that presents an enjoyable challenge to both experienced player and novice alike. Fast moving greens with subtle undulations, lush-green fairways and well-maintained teeing areas all combine to create a very playable, but most importantly enjoyable, game of golf.

Testimonials

On Thursday 19th July I brought 24 ex-members of the Wildwood Vets to Rookwood for a reunion at your facility. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Rookwood for your hospitality, excellent facilities and brilliantly kept greens. We were all suitably impressed. I have visited the course in the past and have always felt that it is a fair test of golf but never have I seen greens that have survived this summer hot spell as well. This is a credit to your green keeper and the staff in general.

Society Organiser

Just want to say thank you again for a fantastic venue day Rookwood always achieves, thank you to Mike, Big bad Bill, the breakfast was spot on so compliments to the Chef, and please say hello to Scott for us. It's courses like yours that inspires Dad and I to carry on with the society because knowing when we visit Rookwood the service service is top quality and nothing is ever a problem, all the best

Johnny & Dodger

We love to visit Rookwood with our 10yr old son for some golf and footgolf. There is a pretty barn with refreshments and we often treat ourselves to a delicious breakfast or lunch. There is a great pro shop too which is great to buy gifts and gift vouchers. We also celebrated my dads 70th birthday and it was fantastic, the barn was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the atmosphere and staff were fantastic!
